About RodwellsRodwells is proud of its heritage and longevity as drinks specialists and to be one of the few remaining family-run companies within the UK to have reached 160 years of trading. Established in 1843 as John Brown’s Brewery, the company was a focal point of the market town of Tring, Hertfordshire. We received prestigious accolades and were proud suppliers to the Home Office during both World Wars. The Rodwell family continued the tradition and added manufacturing own-branded mineral waters and cordials to its product range. Over the years, the generations of Rodwells have added strength to the company’s reputation and the high quality of service customers have come to associate with the company. Today, Rodwells is managed by Peter Rodwell, 5th generation with his father Bill still having an active part in the business as Chairman. Sue Rodwell, Peter’s wife, joined the company 7 years ago as Marketing Director & Wine Buyer. She has successfully introduced a vast number of wines and spirits to the company’s drinks portfolio, of which the majority are unavailable on retail shelves. Rodwells has recently relocated to a purpose-built warehouse in Pitstone on the Hertfordshire / Buckinghamshire border in order to accommodate their continued success and expansion. With a distribution radius of 45 miles and a fleet of delivery vehicles, Rodwells is able to offer a superior first-class service to all of its licensed customers. However, delivery to private and corporate customers is nationwide. |
